FAQ

Questions eBay sellers ask

Do I have to buy labels through ShipSaver?

No. You can insure packages shipped on labels from eBay or anywhere else, as long as they have tracking. Discounted USPS labels are there if you want them.

Who files the claim when a buyer's package is lost or damaged?

You do. The seller files the claim, and an approved payment goes to you.

How do I pay?

Add funds to a prepaid balance by PayPal or card, manually or with automatic top-ups. There's no monthly fee, and you can request a refund of any unused balance.

Do you cover international eBay sales?

USPS international packages are covered up to $1,000, UPS and FedEx up to $5,000. Eligibility for orders shipped through eBay International Shipping is not confirmed, so contact ShipSaver support before insuring those orders.

What isn't covered?

Excluded items include live animals, plants, seeds, tobacco, and plate, float or stained glass. See the insurance terms for the full list.
